Every day is a day of Thanksgiving
Psalm 136:1-9

I know the title may sound cliche or cheesy, but to me, it makes perfect sense.  I wake up every day, and I find something to be thankful for.  For almost a month now, I have been keeping a gratitude journal.  When I first started the journal, it was difficult to keep up.  I was pondering about what to write down but now it flows.  I am excited to write in my gratitude journal because there are really so many wonderful things to be thankful for.  I give thanks to the LORD for the new opportunities that come forth by my being thankful.  The LORD's blessings are shown every day, but we have to take time to recognize them.  It is not what happens to us but how we respond to things that makes all the difference.  Give thanks unto the LORD and His mercies covers every day; forever.  Now choose to give thanks.

I beseech, my MISHPOCHAH Family to start a gratitude journal.

With Love and Kindness,

Teacher Melvin J. Hardrick

FEAR

by

Dycine Hardrick

OUR DEEPEST FEAR IS NOT THAT WE ARE INADEQUATE.

OUR DEEPEST FEAR IS THAT WE ARE POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE.

IT IS OUR LIGHT, NOT OUR DARKNESS THAT MOST FRIGHTENS US.

WE ASK OURSELVES, WHO AM I TO BE BRILLIANT, GORGEOUS, TALENTED, FABULOUS?

ACTUALLY WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE?

YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD.

YOUR PLAYING SMALL DOES NOT SERVE THE WORLD.

THERE IS NOTHING ENLIGHTENED ABOUT SHRINKIN SO THAT OTHER PEOPL WON'T FEEL INSECURE AROUND YOU.

WE ARE ALL MEANT TO SHINE, AS CHILDREN DO.

WE WERE BORN TO MAKE MANIFEST THE GLORY OF GOD THAT IS WITHIN US.

IT'S NOT JUST IN SOME OF US, IT'S IN EVERYONE.

AND AS WE LET OUR OWN LIGHT SHINE, WE UNCONSCIOUSLY GIE OTHER PEOPLE PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME.

AS WE ARE LIBERATED FROM OUR OWN FEAR, OUR PRESENCE AUTOMATICALLY LIBERATES OTHERS.

Psalm 23

Matthew 6:26-33

Psalm 103

HE IS my shepherd, I shall not want! (Psalm 23:1)

HE IS with me, I shall fear no evil! (Psalm 23:4)

HE only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved! (Psalm 62:2)

Ye shall be my people, and I shall be your G_D! (Jeremiah 30:19)

G_D IS our Refuge and Strength [might and impernetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble! (Psalm 46:1 Amplified Bible)

In order for all this to be true in our lives, we must have a relationship with Abba, Father. This is the only way we can truly begin to grasp who HE is.

Psalm 103: David truly knew who G_D was, and he had submitted to HIM as Lord over his life. Therefore he knew, who G_D was, and what G_D had done and was doing in his life. David understood who was Lord over his life and all the blessings that abound with grace and mercy.

Salvation is not guilty by association. You cannot go to heaven/reap the inheritance just because you think you know me, or because you’re my family member. (Matthew 12:48-50) My family are those who do the will of my Father. So, if you don’t know G_D then you don’t know me. Everyone has to have their own personal relationship. Relationship is builded. It’s a growth process. Process takes time. Time takes patience. Patience takes faith. Faith takes patience. Patience takes time. Relationship does not happen overnight. You have to become aware of each other. You have to spend time, ask questions, and listen. In “The Shack,” it says “relationships are never about power, and one way to avoid the will to power is to choose to limit oneself-to serve.” It is not something we can sit idly and do, or expect someone to do for us. It won’t work. You have to give of yourself.

In science there are a few types of relationships. They are mutualism, commensalism, and parasitic. People are stuck in these parasitic relationships, and are constantly being drained because they are not in a true relationship, and you've gotten yourself messed up because you’ve got your soul tied up and are dealing in the familiar, instead of hearding G_D, and allowing HIM to place the right people in your life. Truth begets truth, and like spirits attract like spirits, so people are all messed up because their spirit isn’t right. (Psalm 51:10)“Create in me a clean heart, Oh G_D, and renew a right spirit within me. People are living this and teaching erroneously. They hear “a” right spirit and think they’re supposed to have more than one. There is only ONE Holy Spirit, but Holy Spirit works and deals with each of us differently, so in short the only spirit you need is HOLY SPIRIT!!! (2 Timothy 2:15) We have to rightly divide the word of truth. Don’t take my word for it. We have to get in the Word, and The Word in us, and allow Holy Spirit to work in us. So, I beseech you to build and grow a relationship with Christ, and everything else will be alright.

As I mentioned earlier, I am reading “The Shack,” and it has made me become aware of something that I never thought of. And it’s the reason so many of our marriages and relationships are messed up. We view everything in an authoritative manner. The following is a passage from "The Shack" that focuses on the relationship between the trinity of G_D our Father, Yeshua the son, and Holy Spirit, and how we were designed to orignally fit into this relationship:

“ ‘Mackenzie, we have no concept of final authority among us, only unity. We are in a circle of relationship, not a chain of command or great chain of being’ as your ancestors termed it. What you’re seeing here is relationship without any overlay of power. We don’t need power over the other because we are always looking out for the best. Hierarchy would make no sense among us. Actually, this is your problem, not ours.’

‘Really? How so?’

‘Humans are so lost and damaged that to you it is almost incomprehensible that people could work or live together without someone being in charge.’

‘But every human institution that I can think of, from political to business, even down to marriage, is governed by this kind of thinking; it is the web of our social fabric’, Mack asserted.

‘Such a waste!’ said Papa, picking up the empty dish and heading for the kitchen.

‘It’s one reason why experiencing true relationship is so difficult for you,” Jesus added. ‘Once you have a hierarchy you need rules to protect and administer it, and then you need law and the enforcement of the rules, and you end up with some kind of chain of command or a system of order that destroys relationship rather than promotes it. You rarely see or experience relationship apart from power. Hierarchy imposes laws and rules and you end up missing the wonder of relationship that we intended for you.’ ”

If we are one, in unity, and submit ourselves to oneness in heart, mind, and Spirit, through Christ, any decision WE make will always have each other’s best interest because we are one. Father desires that oneness with us. That’s what man was originally designed for, then man messed up, so Christ came as our Redeemer. Christ is married to the church, so if we submit to Christ, His will becomes our will, and nothing we do will be out of order, so there is no need for one trying to have rule over another because everyone’s will and desires are the same because our desires will be guided by Holy Spirit, and in the Perfect Will of Abba, our Father!

We must truly desire a relationship with G_D, through Holy Spirit, and submit to HIS Will for our lives. Then we will know, that because HE IS, We Shall have everything we need because it has already been completed. We just have to get to know HIM, so that we can know, and obtain everything that HE has set before us! SELAH! AMEN!

Philippians 4
Ephesians 4:20-21

Greetings,

As this new calendar year begins, I want us all to take the time to stop, and meditate on the goodness of the Lord.  There were so many things I wanted to touch on, but Holy Spirit led me to a familiar chapter in the Bible that encompasses them all.  In this New Year we will experience obstacles and opposition, but know IT IS WELL!!!  Father has given us so much, and all He asks is that we love wholeheartedly, be selfless, and most importantly TRUST HIM.  We must remember to be thankful, and have the patience and faith to know that G_D is in control of every situation, and He has given us the power and dominion that we need.  Philippians 4 is a powerful passage, and it brings so much knowledge and inspiration. Verse 6 reminds us to not be anxious. One of the worst things we can do is rush a blessing that we are not spiritually or mentally mature for. When the time is right, it shall be.  There is no need trying to rush or worry to make it happen sooner, when it is already going to happen.  Verse 11 says be content.  People may misconstrue this as not having the desire to do better, or as an excuse to be lazy, but Holy Spirit wants us to rest easy, and have peace, regardless of the situation.  We must learn to be thankful and give thanks, even during what we thing is a bad time.  Only then can we appreciate the goodness of being elevated with Holy Spirit.  Verse 13 gives us assurance and reminds us to never give up because with Christ we can accomplish anything we set our hearts and minds to do.  Verse 19 also reminds us along with verse 13, that G_D, Jehovah Jirah is our ultimate provider, and will supply everything we need.  It gives me joy to know that Father loves us enough to take care of us, even in our moments of despair or unworthiness.  HE STILL CARES!!!  As I close, I want to share with you something I pray with every prayer, and it comes from Ephesians 4:20-21.  It gives me the assurance in knowing that despite how I feel or what words cannot express, G_D knows my heart, and will do more than I could ever imagine.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen”

Be blessed! Be a blessing!  I love you all!  Shalom!

Proverbs 3:5-7
1 Timothy 4:14-16
2 Timothy 2:15-16
3 John 1:2

Greetings, brothers and sisters in the Lord.  I send you peace and blessings on this glorious day.  Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, as you continue to prosper and be in good health, as Father intended for us.  I urge you to continue to treat each day as a blessing, as a gift, and maximize each opportunity that the Lord has provided us.  Continue to “trust in the Lord with all thine heart”, and allow Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in all truth.  Each of us has a gift, in order to reach out to the community, our peers, or someone in need.  We must continue to study, and meditate, and allow Holy Spirit, to make perfect these things in us that we can reach these people without lack (0f faith).  These gifts are not to be misused, like the talents given in scripture.  We as Men and Women of G_D, should continuously be learning and growing, allowing our growth to inspire others.  But this can only be done, if we are ONE with Holy Spirit.  The times for games are over, no matter how young or old we are.  Father is looking for people who are willing and obedient, people who are not afraid to step out with faith, or stand firmly upon HIS word.  I pray that my words have inspired and enlightened, and those that read them are bold enough  to trust G-D, and live the life HE intended for us to live.

 With Love,

                                 Minister Darrius M. Hardrick

The name of my teaching is:  WHO AM I AND WHO ARE YOU???
Submitted by:  Latrice Robinson, Youth and Young Adult Pastor’s Wife

Since I'm in college now my professor said I don't teach like others teach I give you JUST enough to take with you BECAUSE AFTER THIS CLASS IS OVER YOU WILL ONLY REMEMBER 2/3 of what I told you....  Don't expect that you know who someone really is.  Let me give you a definition of expect:

Expect: to look forward to; regard as likely to happen; anticipate the occurrence or the coming of: or Informal.  to suppose or surmise; guess
Example: When I was around 15 maybe 16 my Uncle once told me that I was going to get knocked up and just have babies after babies.

At that moment I allowed him to define who I would be. I believed it for a while because I didn't know who I was until I moved to Atlanta, Ga. joined with my husband the Congregation Believe and Receive MISHPOCHAH Congregation now known as I AM Divine Believe and Receive MISHPOCHAH Congregation and met the Apostle Hackworth who ministered to me and told me who I was and how I was going to be I mean he told me everything.  He told me how my hair was going to look.  I can some days still hear him, it was Holy Spirit allowing him to see everything that was planned for me in my book of Life...Psalm 139:13-16.  You too can come find yourself in that same book.

KNOWING OTHERS IS INTELLIGENCE KNOWING YOURSELF IS TRUE WISDOM MASTERING OTHERS IS STRENGTH MASTERING YOURSELF IS TRUE POWER... I Think Therefore I am

Sensing

I was awakened one night by my twin Joaquin Hollis Fred Campbell, with words of enlightenment.  He gave me a word to no longer use my "feelings" to navigate through life's lessons, but to use all my senses.  In my family we metaphorically refer to the elders as Jedi and we refer to knowledge from these Jedi as wisdom from the Jedi counsel (With this in mind, you can see why I entertained this phone call at 0340 my time 1900 his time).  Moving on, he awaken me with a jolly tone, filled with concern and prudence, it was very yellow and orange if I was to use spiritual Ora, it warmed me.  He said, “Julian, hey baby brother, I love you and I have words from the Jedi counsel! Are you in good standings? Are you consistently swimming in pools of miracles? A course you are, why? Because you subconsciously move through the spiritual realm by sensing! Tasting, smelling, feeling, seeing and listening; all these important senses guide you to your ultimate blessing which connects you to another blessing, which is connected to another blessing.  These blessings then lead you to the pool that we swim in."

How many of you are sitting in your pool of  blessings, but are caught up in your feelings causing you to panic and because of the panic you forget you have the first blessing, The Word of GOD! The Word is the many lessons that enable you to "swim", so my brown babies, swim! The blessings surround you but you become complacent in self-indulge sorrows and self-imposed destruction.  Release the wavering facts of: rape, sodomy, ill-educated individuals, posers, disgruntled and toxic leadership, mistakes of yesterday, even the past lust that was perceived as love, self-oppression and self-corruption.

My favorite movie of all time is.... You guessed it chocolate drop (that’s my "Only Lady" if you’re wondering who I'm referring too) "What's Love Got to Do with It!?" Angela Bassett poetically and selflessly played this roll of Tina Turner; showing her struggle through self-oppression, rape, discouragement and a life-draining marriage to Ike turner. She battled with a man who, if I was to place him in a psychological category, had a social antipersonnel disorder and literally was absent of conscious!  But, she did what, she began to swim! Now, let’s be honest, all us of thought “child she is drowning, not swimming!"   We felt she was lost and wouldn't make it.  Well I know I did the first time, to be honest every time I watch it I feel that way until she got in that limo! Oh lawd and we know what happen from there, he he. (Forgive me; you know I'm good for going on tangents, silly rabbit hopping on alternate routes like now, lol)

::cue Doctor Apostle YaQar's voice:: "As I close," you must recognize your ability to swim and stop drowning in excuses.  You are great and will swim in a pool of blessings! JHFC says, “trying isn't doing, doing is Doing!"  I know I've blessed you, because I have re-enlightened myself.  Oh and for those of you who missed it ::cue DAY:: "Go to Heaven!!" He he he I love you all! Sense not feel!

Nowadays everyone has an ideal way they envision themselves and others to be, but in reality, that’s unrealistic. No one is perfect. But we are perfectly imperfect. So what if your hair isn’t silky straight, or if you’re not the reflection of the skinny models in the media. Guess who you do reflect? You are a reflection of our creator. He created us in his image and has given us all our own unique identifier, a purpose, a place in this world. Be who you are, not who others envision you to be. Feel perfect in your imperfections. Confidence is the key. One of my favorite scriptures is Ps 139:14-16. And it reads:

(14) I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.(15) My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.(16) Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they were all written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”

Be content with whom and whose you are. There is no one like you. You were made individually, not in a group. You are perfectly imperfect and there is nothing wrong with that.

1 Peter 1

My Bible gives a brief introduction of 1 Peter, and says that Peter, the writer of this book, around A. D. 63 or 64 is encouraging readers to remain holy, love one another, continue to seek G_D's Word, and to remember who they are in Christ.

Being a minister or even a believer in Christ, it is important for us to remember who we are in Christ, so that we may not be influenced by mundane/worldly occurrences. It also says that Peter gives instructions on proper "Christian" conduct in relation to unbelievers, governments, employers, and family. This is also something very important for us as believers in Christ to know and understand, so that we are able to respond righteously in all we do and say.

V 3-4

In the greetings of the letter, Peter informs us that we have been given a new birth (been renewed by salvation) through the resurrection of Yeshua the Christ, our Messiah; and that with this we are given an inheritance, reserved for us in heaven.

V 13-25

These verses speak on how we are to live, speak, and act holy, putting aside the old ways of foolishness and corruptness, that was once a part of our lives; but because Christ is the Holy One, we also should be as Christ, Holy! These verses also speak on how Yeshua gave His blood, as a lamb without blemish, as the sacrifice that surpasses all that came before, and made irrelevant all that would attempt to come after. Because Christ died and rose, we have the freedom and power to live. We are redeemed, and purified through Christ. The Word of G_D will stand, when all else fades away, and by this Word we spread the gospel of the Lord.

Chapter 2 V 1-3

Put aside all foolishness; be at peace, so that the Lord may continue to use you. Humble, willing to grow and learn, as a new born. Because we have changed, and been transformed through Christ, people may see us as peculiar, but know that we are special, chosen by G_D. Others may cast us aside or push us away, but the Lord can make a masterpiece out of things others view as a mistake. No longer are we the same, but we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. No longer are we in darkness, but displaying the Light of Christ!

1 Peter 3:7

One thing that stuck out to me was honoring my wife. I must find more ways to honor my wife, so that we together may grow as one, and be all that the Lord would have us to be.

3:15

Be prepared at all times to witness the good news of faith, and testify of the goodness of the Lord. Be excited about G-D. Too many believers walk around sad and torn down, and wonder why they cannot compel others to Christ. Let us make that change!

1 Peter 4

Be of the same mind as Christ, put away sin. (Christ minded and Free) from sin. Free to live; free to walk in the will of ABBA, Father!

7-11

Verses seven through ten gave me a better understanding of what was meant when apostle YaQar said she saw that I have a heart for the people. I want to continue to be led by Holy Spirit to give freely, and bless others. Not for the sake of receiving blessings in return, but to show the love of Christ that I have been blessed to have received.

I chose to quote 1 Peter 4:11 directly from the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) because it is so plain that a fool could not error.

"Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."

We must remember that it is not about us, but all that we do, and all that we say should allow the Lord to shine through us, not for our personal glory or notification, but to the glory of the Most High!

1 Peter 5

Continue to be vigilant in all we do, praying constantly, walking in right paths that we can prevail over the tricks of the enemy. The battle is won; we must continue to stay in the fight until it is over. We have the Victory! Rejoice!

2 Peter 1

V 3-4

Through Christ we have been freed from all of the corruptions, and lusts of this world. Wanting those things that are not of G_D causes men to fall. But we must be strong in the Lord, and continue to trust in Him for all that we need, and that which He desires for us to have. He is Jehovah Jirah.

5-15

We must continue to grow in the Lord, through faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity. These are the traits and characteristics that we as children of G-D should display in our everyday lives, so that those who are nonbelievers or those who are not yet as strong in the faith can see, and know that the Lord reigneth, and is great in His mercy and love.

Continue to do these things, and be free from sin, remembering that the Lord, our G_D delivered us from the sins of this world. These principles of good will and godliness should govern our thoughts and our minds as we live our lives as Holy Spirit leads. Too often people who are supposed to be believers are hatful, and nasty, or do not show restraint, but indulge in foolishness. This type of confusion leads people astray, and is not pleasing to the Lord. Their blood will be on our hands, for not showing them righteous ways of living.

19-21

Continue to be led by Holy Spirit, in all that you do, letting your light shine, drawing others to Christ.

2 Peter 2

Beware of false prophets and teachings. Not everyone who claims to love G_D, truly mean it. False teaching will occur, but we must discern, and hear Holy Spirit, so we can continue in the paths of righteousness, correct those wrongs, and avoid the paths of wickedness and death. For those who refuse to do the will of the Lord will surely die!

Thank G_D, for verse 8, for the Lord knows how to deliver the godly from temptations. Because temptations will surely come to try and get us to stray from the paths of righteousness, and get us out of the will of the Lord. For surely a fool returns to his folly, and sinners to sin, but the Lord delivereth from ALL!!!

2 Peter 3

V 1-9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promises. Just as He spoke and it was, with the creation of the heavens and earth, He is able to keep us, and do above and beyond what our minds can grasp. We need to stop looking at what we can see physically, and learn to trust G_D, more and more. Faith is not what we can see, but the assurance or knowing that though we cannot see it, the Lord is still going to come through. We must learn patience, and know that He is G_D, and if He said it, He will do it!

V 10-14

Be prepared for the coming of the Lord. For all things shall pass away, and be consumed by fire. But we in righteousness, by grace shall see a new heaven and new earth, and all its glory. Stray from foolish acts and foolish conversation, and be led by the Lord. For one day soon, He shall return. Walk blamelessly, righteously, in Spirit and in Truth, from now and until the end of the world.

To G_D be the glory!!!

Poem
By D. Shavon Hardrick
IS ANYBODY HERE
No one loves me,
No one cares,
No one knows what I'm going through.
Is anybody here? Is anybody here?
My heart is heavy,
I'm beat down,
I'm in pain
Is anybody here?
I s a n y b o d y h e r e, IS ANYBODY HERE!!!
I hear you my child,
IM HERE,
But you're not listening,
You don't hear me,
You can't hear me,
Cause you're doing everything but what my word said.
Hide my word in your heart
And you won't sin against me,
And you will hear me when I call, So be still and know that I AM G-D.
